" Realize that what others have done to you is in the past, move forward and don't let their actions ruin you"

This weekend was really nice! I went with my mom to Mexicali to go visit an old family friend, and it was nice to be able to bond with her. Anyway this week the weekly challenges were back from nanysklozet and flordemariafashion . This weeks challenge was to wear neon. I've honestly always been fascinated by neon colors, but have never dared to wear them except on my nails. I find the colors to be way to bright for me so I've always steered away from these colors in clothing. When I saw this challenge I originally thought of wearing hot pink (typical right?) BUT I really wanted to challenge myself and go with a neon orange instead. Since I didn't want to color to look too crazy I paired it with a tan blazer and some leather shorts. I have to say I really loved the outcome and I can't wait to wear this color again in the summer. Hope you all like it and let me know what you think!

Took these pictures at night so they didn't do the color justice!

5 Days in Blazers: Hot Pink

So this is the last blazer I am wearing for my series (well maybe not, cause I'm planning on wearing one tomorrow too LOL). This is the last colorful one I really own and the newest one to my collection. I also bought this one at a thrift store and I really love it. I really like the vintage feel it has to it. I decided to pair it with a striped blouse to make it pop a bit more. I wore this outfit today to go to a brewery that just opened up in town. I really like trying new places and supporting local shops, so this place was definitely a new spot to go to. Anyway I wanted to talk a little bit more about this blazer series. Would you guys like to see more of these kinds of posts? And if so, what can I do to improve? Also if any of you guys would like to try this let me know so that I can link it to this post. I would really like to see what kind of outfits you come up with. I think another interesting idea would be to wear one blazer for different kinds of outfits. I hope you all enjoyed this series and let me know what you think of this outfit!

5 Days in Blazers: Turquoise

The weather has been really nice in Chino lately and I am taking up every bit of it! I love when the weather is nice and sunny during the day and cozy at night. I decided to take out a pair of jean shorts I bought at a thrift store while I was in Sacramento. Since I am still doing this blazer series I decided to take out my turquoise blazer (this is my first time wearing it). The color is so bright on it so I wanted to pair it with black to neutralize (is this even a word?? LOL) it a little bit. The military boots I'm wearing I just bought at Reflection  yesterday for only 15 bucks! Pretty good huh? Hope you like the outfit and let me know what you think!

5 Days in Blazers: Navy Blue

This is the newest addition to my blazer collection and I have to say I'm really in love with it! I wanted to get one ever since I saw it on Ashley from ashesintofashion . Ever since then I really wanted to recreate her outfit. So since I am showing how versatile our blazers can really be I decided to recreate her outfit for this series. I hope you all like it and let me know what you think!

5 Days in Blazers: Red

This definitely has to be one of my favorite blazers! I think the color goes with anything. I actually had two other outfits I was thinking of wearing with this blazer but I opted for this casual one. I've never mixed patterns before and I loved the outcome of the striped dress with the leopard flats. I am off to go run errands so hope you like the outfit and let me know what you think!

5 Days in Blazers: Blue

Hi everyone! I wanted to start a series this week called 5 days of blazers. I will be wearing 5 different colored blazers this week. I think that blazers are so versatile and can instantly make an outfit look amazing! My first one is a blue blazer I bought in a thrift store months back. Most of the blazers I own are from the thrift store, mainly because they are cheap and good quality compared to many I see out there. Anyway today I went to the Ellen DeGeneres show and it was absolutely a great experience! Everything felt so surreal and I think I might actually come out on TV lol. So if you are watching the show tomorrow make sure to look for me lol. Hope you all like the outfit and let me know what you think!

" Time is of the essence, so don't waste it living an unhappy life"

It's so crazy to me how fast time flies by. I remember barely graduating from high school and with a snap of a finger I feel like I am now closer to turning 23 years old. Even though I feel like I am getting older it only makes life better, because I have learned to appreciate all the things this world has to offer. Great things have been happening lately and it's only making me stronger as a person. Anyway enough of that. I wore this outfit today to go thrift shopping with my mom and sister. Whenever I go shopping in general I always try to wear leggings and neutral colors so that way I can see how well the clothes will look when I wear them. Today I wore all black and added a skull scarf that I got at a thrift store a few weeks ago. Hope you all like it and let me know what you think!

" Fight for those who are worth it, those who aren't forgive them and move along"

I wore this out to go to lunch with my friend Danielle a few days ago. The weather has been really nice lately in Chino, so I thought it would be the perfect day to bring out my brown fedora that I have only wore once! I still have a burgundy one that I really want to show you all, but in due time I will. I hope you all have a great week! Oh and by the way I just wanted to thank everyone for their nice comments! I really appreciate and read each of them! You are all awesome! hope you like the outfit and let me know what you think!

"Just because it's a new year, don't forget you can ALWAYS be out with the old and in with the new"

This New Year's wasn't as eventful as I thought it would be. I started seeing people post things on facebook such as "new year, new beginnings". I kept on thinking to myself about all these things people were posting and soon realized that honestly you don't need a new year to get rid of all the bad people in your life, or old habits. It's nice that people want to change their ways or things that are holding them back, but they should also realize that you can always make a change in your life. It is never too late to change anything in your life in order for it to go positive. With that being said onto my outfit. I really wanted to be glitzy and glam this new year's, BUT I really had a hard time finding something to wear and on top of that I didn't really have anywhere to go. I ended up wearing my new mustard blazer and a jean shirt I bought at Forever 21. The outfit was very laid back and wasn't "New Year's attire" at all. I ended up going with my friend Gabby to her sister's house and later went to a coworkers party. I left early mostly because I wasn't really feeling the night. I just wanted to be home wrapped in a blanket (which is what I did once I got home). Well here is the outfit of the night, plus a few pictures with my friends. Hope you like them and let me know what you think!
